Referral terms

Anyone with a Stenoly account in a country where referrals are available can share their own link or code with colleagues. You find them under Settings → Refer colleagues.

• 30 % off Stenoly Pro for the first 12 months: on the first yearly invoice when paying yearly, or on the first invoices when paying monthly. The discount applies to the first purchase within 12 months of signing up.
• A free trial of 30 days.
• Only for new accounts that have never paid for Stenoly. The first link or code used is the one that counts. Someone who signs up without the link can enter the code in the first 30 days.
• The referral discount can't be combined with other discounts or offers.

• One free month for each colleague who has paid for Stenoly Pro for 30 days. With monthly billing, their second invoice must also be paid.
• If you pay by card, the month comes off your next invoice: the whole next monthly invoice, or a twelfth of the yearly price at your next renewal. If you're on a trial or the free plan, the month is used when you subscribe. If you pay by invoice, Stenoly adds the month to your subscription.
• You can earn up to 12 free months in any 12 months. Free months have no cash value and can't be transferred.

A referral doesn't count if the payment is refunded or disputed, if your colleague pays with the same card as you, if it is your own account, or in any other misuse. Stenoly may then cancel the referral.

You see your colleague's first name and last initial, when they signed up, and whether they're on a trial, the free plan or a customer. Your colleague sees your first name and last initial. Nothing else is shared.

Stenoly may change or end the referral program. Free months you have already earned are yours to keep.
